Lucca Sicula is a small inland town in the province area of Agrigento.

There live 2300 people It was founded in 1620 by Francesco Lucchesi Prince of Campofranco and by his wife Francesca Perollo who donated the village to the Jesuits after her husband died. Later it became an estate of the Filangeri Corbera family.

Olives and olive oil are the main local products.

Unemployment has compelled many inhabitants to emigrate .
